The Dyed Collection
Vrikshat Dyed Veneer

Real wood,
any colour.

Real wood veneer dyed all the way through the fibre. The grain stays; the colour is whatever you need — well past what the species grows on its own.

What it is

Dyed through, not on top.

01Slice from log at 0.5 mm face
02Bleach to a uniform base
03Soak in reactive dye bath
04Press, dry, bond to substrate

We take natural veneer, bleach it to an even base, then soak it in a dye bath so the colour goes right through the fibre. The grain stays visible — you are looking at real wood, just in a colour it never grew. Because the dye is through the sheet and not painted on the face, sanding or joining on site will not expose a pale patch underneath, and sheet to sheet the tone holds across a big run.

That makes it the pick when the project needs a specific colour across a large area — brand walls, matched joinery, a tone no natural species happens to grow in.

Why choose dyed

Four reasons to
pick dyed over stain.

A stain sits on the surface. A dye goes into the fibre. That one difference is why dyed veneer sands, joins and ages without the colour wearing thin at the edges.

01

Broad colour palette

Soft earth tones through to strong, saturated colours — far more than any one natural species gives you.

02

Consistent colour

The same tone holds across sheet after sheet, so a run of cladding or joinery reads as one surface, not a patchwork.

03

Natural grain preserved

The grain and texture of the real wood show through the colour — it still reads as timber, not paint.

04

Design flexibility

Match a brand colour or a Pantone reference, or run a contrast accent — colours no natural species comes in.
