Pine
Light, honest and full of character — the warm, affordable softwood that brings instant Scandinavian calm to a room.
Light, warm, honestly characterful
Pine is the friendliest wood in the range. Its pale, creamy sapwood and warm reddish-brown heart give rooms an airy, natural lightness — while its fine straight grain and gentle knots carry a relaxed, lived-in character that polished hardwoods can’t fake.
A lightweight, fast-growing softwood, Pinus sylvestris is easy to work, easy on the budget, and takes paint, stain and oil beautifully — making it the most adaptable panelling we offer.

The beauty is in the knots
Pine's knots aren't a defect to hide — they're the signature. Each grouped knot and gentle grain swirl tells you the panel is real, solid wood with a story, giving walls the warm, handmade feel that defines the Scandinavian and rustic-modern look.

Fast-growing & renewable
Pine matures far quicker than hardwoods, so it regenerates fast — one of the most responsibly renewable timbers available.
Lighter footprint
Being lightweight, it takes less energy to transport and handle than dense hardwoods — real wood, lower impact.
100% real timber
No plastics, no WPC — just solid, natural pine that can be refinished and, at end of life, returns to the earth.

Pine is a softwood — lighter and more dent-prone than oak or teak, and best kept indoors unless treated. That softness is exactly what makes it warm, affordable and easy to work. For weather-exposed walls, ask us about thermally modified Thermo Pine.
